Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services is a well - known Business Intelligence platform for building enterprise-level data integration and data transformation solutions which helps to manage required enterprise business data processing between different business programs in a seamless way.
Integrated within the SQL Server environment, the SSIS BI functionality able to automate the wide range of integration duties, including the migration data between different sources with the data management and extesion programming.
Project was required to develop the SSIS package which able to read the client's geo - related business data from the Excel workbook, connect to the Microsoft Bing GeoServices webservice and extend the business objects with the required additional geo - related information ( latitude and longitude data ) and write the final data results back to the Excel workbook.
Such a solution is the popular way for the seamless business data integration at the enterprise level and Outsourcing-Soft Software Development sucessfully delivered the required SSIS BI package to the clien't production environment.
FYI: The Bing Map GeoServices webservice is a modern Windows Communication Foundation ( WCF ) service which is actually building and growing active right now. It was really exciting to implement the business integration solution using the moderm technology.
